Arrived!

So, thanks to Mr. Johan Hornof who recently had the brilliant idea that I should start a blog of what's happening so that all my friends and Prague (and eventually my family in Houston, I imagine) will be able to keep up with what I'm doing, my opinion on good movies, as well as my insane online screaming about the horrors of graduate school...it should be fun!

So, just for a quick update, I got back to America last Monday with no problems (no missed flights, no lost luggage--AWESOME!) So, I spent about a week at home with mom and the dogs mostly unpacking and cleaning things, buying dishes for my new apartment, getting a haircut, and swimming as much as possible (because it's like, a billion degrees outside).

Then this week, I got some temporary work answering phones in the office I used to work at (I'm at work right now writing this!), which is a pretty boring job, but at least it's getting me out of the house and giving me something to do other than throw a tennis ball for my dog....

So, I will be in Houston for about a month before I move up to my new place in Austin, start school, and search desperately for a job--wish me luck!

I will update as soon as the next semi-interesting thing happens to me, but I am afraid it might be a while for that....

I miss everyone back in Prague like CRAZY and I would love to hear from you!
